Absence makes the heart fonder
Time, but when the heart starts to grow fond
Distance is assumed
Pity the heart that has to cry every night
Pity the heart that mourns for the love that she hoped she has
Pity the heart that has to learn the spite when it never knew how
Why weep and mourn?
Distance is always present for a reason
Distance is made and kept
So as not to hope
So as not to wait
Absence doesn’t make the heart grow fonder
It makes the bearer hate, burn, and spite!
Because when the time is right
When the bearer starts to wonder
Initially, where did al start?
When somebody’s presence broke your heart!
